Climb the world’s most accessible volcano and witness an incredible show of lava being thrown sky high. You’ll stay in a traditional bungalow right at the base of the volcano, before being comfortably driven up almost to the top in a 4×4 vehicle. From here, it’s an easy 5-10 min walk to the top.

Time required: Minimum one day, one night.
Fitness required: Accessible to most. A relatively easy 5-10 min walk up stairs is required.
Accommodation: Traditional bungalow at the base of the volcano. Camping is also available.

Typical Itinerary

We will collect you at the airport and drive you to our accommodation at the base of the volcano. You can chose to visit Yasur during the day or at night (or both!). You will spend the night in one of our traditional bungalows. You can either return to the airport or extend your visit to Tanna Island.
